The first WINTER SALON took place in a private home on November 19, 2000. It was so well attended it was moved it to its current location in the North room of the Jericho Hill Centre where it’s possible to display approximately 300 paintings.
As paintings are sold they are replaced. Mediums include: acrylic, water colour, pastel, pen and ink, mono print and collage. Prices range from $15.00 to $1,000; the majority of works are under $300.
Refreshments are served. Small children have an art table. It is a social occasion; you are bound to run into friends.
The next Annual Winter Salon will be the Guild's 10th Anniversary so mark your calendars for Sunday, November 7, 2010, 11:00 am. Come early, paintings go quickly.
