Events and Exhibits
Vancouver Art Guild members regularly display their work in venues around the City and at their Annual Winter Salon, the first Sunday in November. The Guild routinely sponsors studio time, summer plein air excursions, art classes, workshops and lectures, tours and trips. Watch this site for updates.
Past exhibitions include: the Vancouver Art Guild’s Annual Winter Salons, a Hycroft Women’s Club Christmas Sale, a Show and Sale at the Kerrisdale Community Centre, and a display at the Vancouver Public Library. Recent venues displaying the work of individual members include: Cafe Organica, Blenz Coffee, De Salvo's Bean Around the World, Coffee A Go Go, Havana, Studio Gallery 2, Arts Off Main, Hycroft Women’s Club, the Barristers’ Lounge in the Vancouver Court House, the Roundhouse, Coal Harbour and West End Community Centres. Some members participate in Artists in our Midst and the Fraser River Arts Festival.

Jennifer HarwoodJennifer will be one of the 120 Canadian Artisans featured on July 30, 31, August 1 & 2, at the 2010 Filburg Festival in Comox, on Vancouver Island. This event is staged on a 9 acre waterfront park surrounding the heritage designated Filberg Lodge. Lynda HendersonLynda will be painting and displaying her art in the “Stanley Park Painter’s Corner” this summer, July through September, seven days a week, weather permitting. Pat VickersPat will be showing her work at the "Arnold Mikelson Festival of Arts", July 10th & 11th, 17th & 18th from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. This event takes place in three acres of beautiful gardens filled with over 100 artists including painters, jewelry makers, potters and stone carvers. Judy FletcherJudy has designed the cover image for a book called “Quirke Collections”. It is the project of a LGBT seniors group called Quirk-e. Judy’s painting of T-shirts graces the fifth volume of their collected writings. Audrey and Mary are part of the Members Summer Show exhibiting their work in the Gallery of University Women's Club at Hycroft, 1489 McRae Avenue, Vancouver (16th & Granville).
