Sylvia Sinclair

Sylvia is a founding member of Vancouver Art Guild.

Prior to that she was an instructor in the Med Lab programme at B.C.I.T. She paints mostly in acrylic and a little in watercolour.

I particalrly enjoy working with acrlyics because of the sense of freedom it offers.I am also trying to experiment using acrylics like watercolours and then,later,applying the acrylic in a thicker,more traditional way.

My love of the outdoors provides inspiration for landscapes which I find I look at now with a thought of how it might best be interpreted.

I also enjoy taking classes and hope to expand my technique in other directions.
